On August 25th there will be the first edition of ITALY MAN, the highly anticipated K113 distance triathlon. It will start and finish along the amazing Lake of Malgrate overlooking the Gulf of Lecco (Lake Como).
The competition will enjoy lots of interesting landscapes , unique in the world concerning the high quality of race tracks:
-1^ SWIMMING LEG / KM 1,9 . Two laps and an a spectacular intermediate output, you will swim between the elegant architecture of the towns of Lecco and Malgrate and the famous rocky mountains as Grigna and Resegone.
-2^ BIKE LEG / KM 90 . Only one lap along the green Brianza that has made great the cycling world in Italy on the occasion of “classics” as the Tour of Italy, the Tour of Lombardy and the Agostoni Cup .The two famous ascents of “Colle Brianza” and “Lissolo “will soddisfy both the expert bikers and the wheel beginners thanks to their charm but also to their discrete accessibility..
-3^ RUNNING LEG / KM 21. Four laps with a flat trend “to stick” with a high content of environmental integration and always in contact with the new “living room” of Malgrate represented by its beautiful Long Lake. It was the subject of a prestigious restyling by the careful Municipal Administration only few weeks ago.
The whole area of Lake Como, with its extraordinary interest in nature, architecture and history, will offer also an opportunity of sport, culture and holiday.
This NEW ENTRY in the National FITRI Calendar and in the International K113 therefore has all the features to become a classic of the threefold discipline of long distance, a novelty not to be missed, an opportunity of a thousand faces and innumerable interests.
